How It Works
How To Make Free International Calls
It is very easy to make a free international call using your landline or mobile phone. You simply need to call our access number, then follow the instructions. No accounts are necessary, you do not need to register, you do not need to give us any personal information, and you do not need to pay us. Here is how it works:
Step 1: Make Sure That Your Country Is Included
We offer free international calling to landlines in 75 countries as well as free calls to mobile numbers in many of those destinations. Check our Home Page for a full list of all destinations we offer. Some of our more popular destinations include the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany (landlines only) and the USA, Canada, India, and China (landlines and mobiles).
Step 2: Dial Our Access Number
Now that you have your access number picked out and know that we offer free calling to the country you want to reach, you need to call us. Our international calling gateway will answer, and then give you instructions on how to make a free international call.
Step 3: When Prompted Enter Your Calling Destination
After you have listened to the prompt, it will ask you to enter the phone number you want to reach starting with the country code. At this point, you need to dial the number that you want to call. The phone number should start with the country code (if for instance you are calling the UK you would start with 44) and then continue on with the remaining digits. A list of country codes can be found on our Countries Page. If you are calling the US or Canada make sure you put a 1 before the area code.
When you have finished dialing the number, press the # key so we know that you are done.
Step 4: Wait While We Connect Your Call
After you have entered your phone number and pressed the # key, our international calling gateway will try to connect your call. This may take 10-45 seconds while we try to route your phone call to the correct destination. Please be patient and wait for us to connect you. In the event that we cannot connect your call, the system will tell you the problem and then let you try to dial again.
Step 5: Enjoy Your Free International Call
At this point, we have connected you to the destination number overseas. Feel free to talk as long as you want. We do not charge you for making a call, will not interrupt your call with ads, and do not have a time limit on how long you can talk. The only costs you should have is the cost of calling our local access numbers. If you are unsure of those costs, check with your phone provider before calling or make a very short call and then check your billing records.
