New Access Number 084 1976 776

by Chris From Call Star on March 4, 2011

Call Star has a new access number. Please use 084 1976 776 to continue making free international phone calls with Call Star. As part of this change, we had to drop about 20-25 countries that we used to offer free international calling to. Most of those countries are located in Africa where our costs were too high to offer free calling. Our home page is updated with the new list of free calling destinations

The new access number is a VAS rated mobile number. It is included in the bundled mobile minutes of most operators. Cell C charges this number at R 2.5 per minute to call. If you are calling from Telkom, you should look into what it will cost you to call this number versus direct dialing.

We hope that everyone keeps using Call Star for their free international calling. Take down our number access number and tell your friends….Dial 084 1976 776 for free international calls.

Call Africa Free With New Access Numbers

by Chris From Call Star on August 31, 2010

Good news for people looking to make free international calls to Africa. We have found some new access numbers that will allow us to offer free calls to 25 countries in Africa and the Gulf region.

It’s best if you call these numbers from your mobile since the call will just use your included plan minutes. In other words you can call a South Africa phone number from your mobile, and then make a free international call through that phone number. If you are calling from your Telkom landline, then it will cost R 1.93 during peak and R 1.12 during Call More time.

Now on to the list of countries that you can make free calls to in Africa:

Angola

Botswana
