How Does It Work?

Find the access number for the country you want to call in the sections above. Then dial the access number and listen to our prompt. When prompted, enter the international phone number you want to connect to starting with the country code. When you have finished dialing, press the # key, and we will connect your call. That’s it.

Is It Really Free?

We allow you to make free international calls by dialing our South African access numbers. However, you are responsible for the cost of calling our access number. If you make a 30 minute call to India, you will be charged for a 30 minute call to our access number.

Telkom rates for call each of our access numbers are listed in the section above. If you are calling from a mobile phone, the call will be treated as a standard cross network call and in most cases just use your existing mobile minutes.

When dialing your international destination, make sure that you do not hit the send button on your phone. That will disconnect you from our gateway and dial the international number over your normal mobile network.

Do I need to provide any personal information or enter any pin codes?

No. You do not need to create an account, provide us with any personal information, or credit card information. You also do not need to enter a PIN code. Just dial your international destination when our prompt instructs you to.

Can I call from any phone?

Our access numbers are open to all major South African land and mobile phone networks. You can call us from your landline or from your mobile phone.
